In short the Ek-50 sounded great and most of the basic go to sounds were quite usable, Piano, EP, Organ, Strings, Guitars, but when it gets to Brass,Trumpet,Synths, Pads etc if fell short to my ears... Where it really falls short is in the navigation which is a nightmare in many ways very "Casioish" is how I would explain it.... variations have to be double presses, sound and style changes using two hands was very awkward for sure,.... the menu system is strange to find things too...speakers are adequate, very light touch keybed, well lit display.
