A few years ago we were discussing the heat. I wrote a quick set of lyrics, then at work that night I recorded it. One take, in fact I think it's the only time I ever sang it. Pretty sure it was on Roland BK7m. Throw Your Meat On The Driveway: https://app.box.com/s/b0ltp3ovl0pfsexynp1oxk71t63cjrv5
If you're lookin' for alternate "titles" when you register the song with ASCAP or BMI... "GETTIN' OVER GETTING DRUNK" would be a "stunner"... Don. I always enjoy your work and sense of humor and this one is no exception.
I made me a "private collection" CD of an album's worth of Mason songs... and now, you've saddled me with the quandary of having to do another to include this one. The "talking" intro and outro make it even more personal for those of us who follow your stellar career! Thanks for sharing.

Very cleaver and catchy song you got there, Don. Here’s in Dallas we got a cold snap. It’s only going to reach 91 today. Actually that does feel refreshing compared the triple digits we’ve been having lately!

Great song and guitar playing. What Harmonizer are you using ? It sounds spot on, very professional.

Here's the link to the original post, when I actually did this song. It's so interesting to go back and read the old stuff sometimes. It was in 2007. http://www.synthzone.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/ubb/showflat/Number/317431/Searchpage/1/Main/45249/Words/driveway/Search/true/Re:_Country_Music#Post317431

Don, it was Roland BK7m module. Bill, the harmonizer was the T.C. Helicon Harmony M. It's sort of ironic that I'm basically using the same thing right now, Roland EA7 and the Harmony M.
