Although the TR-707 was Roland's first digital drum machine I like it a lot. I really liked the user interface on it and being able to see all the pattern programming on the large LCD screen. Roland have a great drum machine out now the TR-8S that emulates the 606, 707, 727, 808 and 909 with effects and can load samples to use. Very cool at around $750
