Maybe not the same, but check out my boy, Danny - boogie woogie master. Sold his house, and everything except his piano, dog, and truck, and he travels the world bringing musical joy to anyone who wants to listen.

If one takes a little time to look at some of the hundreds of pics, you get some sense of the extraordinary pilgrimage taken by a musician and his dog.

Thanks UD

Well let me rephrase it since obviously not many play this kind of piano....
How many use Boogie Woogie STYLES for songs on their
arranger KB instead?

I always thought that New Orleans style playing was Fats Domino style - mainly because he wrote most of the Mardi-Gras songs using his unique style.

I fake a bit of it for a few tunes I do but not too much. Love it and am a big fan of Jon Cleary who's a master of it along with Dr. John. Harry Connick can lay some authentic licks down too. Boogie to me is a different category from New Orleans Style.
I saw Cleary in Cape May a few years back and just saw that he was there again this past weekend. Too bad you missed him, he's a great entertainer.
