Love the Genos, however the system for storing registrations is a nightmare. Can we please have a storage system like the new CP series, now that’s easy. Yes it’s easy to store up to 10 registrations on Genos using the buttons on the topside Of keyboard. It’s after that where it gets frustrating. Too many pages and pushes to store a bank.

Started to think it was just me, but i’m Not the only one I know, there are many of us that want and need this issue addressed.

Wow, I hear you.
However, I find it extremely easy to set up and call up Registrations. Takes me 2 sec. to get to any Registration I want to.
Not trying to start a war ...
Is there a video showing the CP registrations?

On genos, how many steps does it take to completely save a change to an existing registration, like changing an instrument or tempo?

Gotta agree with Eric here.

I think i know what he means..
It could have been much more efficient..
But you work around it in many ways..

but compared to the competition..
Its still by far the most versatile system available..

The only thing i would add, is keyboard sets, making the 4 panel voices a separate save item, and seperately searchable and selectable.. thats what Korg did very smart.


So far, this been not really a worry for me..

But if you want an OS upgrade..
Please share with us how you think this could be done much more efficient..

So watch the registering new memory recall on the new CP series. The problem I have is when you want to save a reg in a new spot you have to set up a new folder for it to go into.
Why when you set up a reg memory as in the CP it just pops up and asks you where to put it. This would be much more efficient.
