Bacchus ... Thank you ... I may have missed that - or forgotten, which happens at my age ...
This board just made it obvious to me how advances in technology can be incorporated into a unit for such little money ...

PS: I had just gotten an email from KORG about this board.

EA7, EK-50, Casio etc,..
and that will be the demise of arranger kb's as we know them...

And, yes, things will change, as does all of life ...

Advances in technollogy?

I don’t see anything advancing
I only see drop off technollogy from kore expensive instruments..
And they don’t have to charge you for the development
As that development was payed for by pa3x, pa4x and kronos buyers..

Electronics cost near to nothing these days..
High end instruments are so expensive because the development of new features/content

Wow, lots of great features for an entry level arranger. I can remember well when it would have been by far the best arranger on the market.

I believe a totl Korg is not far away. DNJ, it is not the sky falling, it is a sprinkle to make things grow! smile

Yes Don you are correct, it's certainly growing AWAY from arranger KBs as we know them. As the old generation dies off who use arrangers,....the new generation who creates music in so many other ways takes over its inevitable that the arranger will drift into the dinosaur realm over time....it's had its days,....now it's time to pass the baton. hang on to what you have... It was a nice ride. cool2

Yes, and I - and a lot of others - are still riding ...

As I said, life changes ... used to be there was a piano in every venue,, large or small ... when owners stopped keeping them in tune, the accordion and portable electric organs came along ... then the cordovox, and the Fender Rhodes ... and then AKBs ...
And with each change no doubt someone said "there goes life as we know it..."
Life will go on ...
