Hi everyone, Alec told someone that there is a new version of style convert disk supplied with keyboard.this newer version can convert YAMAHA styles to KN6500. Please tell me where can I find or download this new style convert disk version. Because I also want to convert YAMAHA styles to KN6500. Thanks a Million!

Dear Gunnar, I tried to find the new version of style convert on your given site.But there is the same disk which i have with my new kn6500. And it does not convrt yamaha styles.
Please help me again to find it in bit detail because the site is in German. Thanks...

The KN5 convertdisk I downloaded from Tayio also have Yamaha PSR up to 8000, and CVP up to 98, and those brands are not present on the supplied disk I have.... GJ

Yes, Gunnar, Kn5000 owners have been smiled upon by EMC/Taiyo.
Unfortunately the 5000 convert disk does not work on the 6000/6500 because the 6000 program has to take into account the extra 10 patterns in each individual composer compared to 5000 format. I do not recommend you try it... you will crash your 6000/6500.
Still €25 is not too expensive if you have a lot of Yamaha styles you can use.

OOoPPpSss.... Thank's a lot for that info Alec, this I did not know about. Seems to remember that there was a topic about similiar questions earlier, and than the KN5 disk would run on KN6 too.
Hopefully you have not tried it so any damage is done on your OS Shakeel. GJ

Thanks God.I did try this 5000 disk but nothing is damaged so far.The keyboard only got rest when i inserted the disk.
know i hope u people will help me sending the upgrade disk to my e.mail address.I can even pay u.As i live in Pakistan i find no music wender woulh help.Thanks.
