LOL - sometimes, I just need to vent stagnant thoughts. I'm not sure I even had a point. I was just feeling wordy!

Congrats! You’ve found your place in the sun so to speak, contentment and enjoyment, probably some serenity thrown in too. Few can accomplish that, I applaud you.

There's a place in the sun, where's there's hope for everyone,
where my poor restless heart's gotta run.
There's a place in the sun, and before my life is done,
Gotta find me a place in the sun...
...from the book of Stevie.

One of my big favourite songs.
I'll reply to it like Donny often do, with a YT video. wink

When we lived in Spokane, Washington, I had a sweetheart job performing at a ranch-house that had a driveway that was more than a mile long. I was just 28 years old, playing a guitar and singing to the ladies for 3 hours on Saturday nights. The lady that hired me looked like a movie star with flaming red hair. I think it was natural because she had red eyebrows, too. She pretty much wanted all country and a lot of Elvis. I was happy to oblige. smile

Now, I only got to see Dave perform on maybe a half dozen occasions. He is a fantastic entertainer and musician by all measures, which I'm sure is why he is at the Crab Trap. smile

All the best,

Gary cool

HA!
Boo, you always crack me up. I pretty far from ALWAYS happy, but I do try to play the hands I'm dealt. I've had lots of redirections in this life, but as long as you try to keep moving, you're ahead of the game. You stop moving .... you're done.
Truth is perception, and I want to believe that there's more good than bad out there. Hey, I could be laying bricks for a living! smile
(BTW - "Bricks" is a nickname I gave one of my redheads .... LOL)
