Ran across this clip in YT. Not near what some Pro Arranger players can do but the guy wins the crowd over.
More home organ that Arranger but the guy is really quirky and unitentionally funny.
I don't think he got very far but his one shot was fun to watch.

the linked worked for me.
he's playing what looks like an yamaha electone series organ.
i agree with simon on this however he should consider comedy. he's a very funny guy.

Wow, I loved it! He plays well, excellent footwork. Singing is good, and he is REALLY funny. I'd pay to see him...at least once.
Reminds me of the old days when I used an organ and tried to sing!
I made the link live for you!

I gotta agree with DonM, who I also wish to thank for making this come alive for me. WOW! This guy is an amazing entertainer. I would to have loved to see him performing with an arranger keyboard, Genos, or any other TOTL arranger keyboard. I would pay to see this, even if I had to fly to the UK.

Thanks Don,

Gary cool

Not unusual in the UK, however those that play arrangers in most cases have a second keyboard and pedals added due to the limitations of a single keyboard. (You at least need a set of pedals to be classed as anything other than a Karaoke player (Just pressing buttons doesn’t cut it)

Yes it is a Yamaha EL series Electone and is one of the most popular ranges due to relatively light weight and reliability. (UK players don’t moan about the weight of an instrument, they just work round it)

Hi.
Many years ago I did watch a Leonard Cohen consert at TV.
At that concert he played arranger keyboard when the band was off stage for a break.
I am pretty sure it was a Technics KN, because the brand was not 'blinded' at that concert,
and I remember the same style from my Technics days.
I've tried to find it at YT, but cannot find the very same that I did see back then.
But, here he is with his arranger, the choir and the bands keyboardplayer.

Btw, here is another clip :

Still not the same concert, but the Technics logo is visible. wink

wish that kind of entertainment was still popular in the US. I used to love playing keyboards with bass pedals. I felt more involved and versatile
