Everything I have is available for sale...except my vintage accordion, my G70, My two original 1985 Cube100 keyboard amps .. and my Edirol Digital mixer.. Maybe my M-Audio Code61.. My Roland Quad Capture.

That leaves a lot available..

I have two Cube100 store stock that I purchased 15 years ago .. I had covers made and have stored them in mu studio.. (My original 30 + year old pair still work great , use them every day}.

Edirol PC80 controller.

New Roland Go Keys..

Ketron SD1000..

M-Audio Code61 ?

Roland BX80 mixer.

Roland CA30 and easy8 card..

Tune 1000 Harmony Box .

Assortment of interfaces, software, mics, CD players(Pioneer), Tape decks (Marantz).

SCSI drives, Zip and Jazz drives etc.

First 20+ years Keyboard mag.. also same Electronic Musician..

Looks like a Yamaha digital piano too.. (NP v60)

Reasonable prices considered... No trades.. I want to sell off..

I actually like everything I own.... but have too much, no extra room without taking over my upstairs..

I hate to see my kids with the burden of selling this stuff after I kick the bucket.. Besides Dave is waiting to get some good deals smile

Private message me or email me.. No deal discussions in public.. grin

Fran, I feel the same way - don't want my children to be burdened with all the crap I have, so I've sold most of it, and some I gave away. I talked with my son this evening and told him that after I'm dead, just donate the sailing yacht to charity so Carol can take the tax write-off. As for me, I've already made arrangements to donate my body to the Maryland Anatomy Board so some medical student can learn how to do some surgical procedures without killing someone. The funeral industry isn't going to get a dime from this old fart's carcass. smile

Wow Fran, appears to be a few of downsizing.

My keyboards are hopefully going too, except the Pa4x.

Good to see you’re still keeping you favourite keyboard. Haha

We’re actually planning on downsizing homes, so , good point, my kids or hubby wouldn’t know what to do with the keyboards either or my Collectables either.

Scary what one collects over the years. Haha

If you're a true 'pack rat' like me, the process of getting rid of stuff is very hard; even when know down in your heart, you'll never, ever, use that piece of equipment again. When considering downsizing, that is my biggest concern; what to get rid of and how to get rid of it. Wish I could bite the bullet like Fran and just do it.

The truth is, I could probably move into an apartment with just my organ and maybe a beatbox, and be perfectly content, but down in my heart, I know that's not going to happen (at least no time soon). What I should probably do is set aside maybe 5 pieces that I really want to keep and put everything else in a big pile for a big band/yard sale. Nahhhh. Oh well, twenty years from now it won't matter to anybody, regardless to how it resolves itself. As far as 'sparing the kids', not a chance. I just think of it as payback smile.

I know where you're coming from. I now have 3 storage units full of music equipment. Many, many pieces unopened. Yet, this week, I got a 1/3 size guitar, a violin (why?),a starter guitar for a friend's grandson.

Add knives, guns, cars, motorcycles and you have an out of control MESS.

R.

PS. Chas, all guns are collectible target pieces inherited (mostly) from my dad. GHaven't shot one for over 20 years.

I have four guns. One is collectible and I've never fired it. The other three are not collectible and I fire them pretty often, but not too often at real people. smile
It's ironic that I've held onto a WWII Japanese rifle that my dad smuggled home after the war. For a while it was worth decent money, but then someone discovered a long-overlooked cave on some island that had cases of them, all well-preserved and "new". Value of my old used one dropped to nearly zero.
Oh, and back to the real subject. I have lots of stuff I'd sell, but you have to come dig through the garage and my office and find what you want! smile

You know what? I am re-thinking this process.. smile

I like my stuff, and selling off bits and pieces, won't do any good. frown

Dave can deal with the kids. grin

Reading the other post, I realize the music gear is only part of liquidation.... I was a contractor and have tons of tools and equipment.. that serves me and the kids better by being available now if needed..

Besides ... what if I live to be 95+ like most of my Carango side. shocked

That's 20 plus more years to play with my toys.. smile

Makes too much sense to keep on doing what I am doing.... Let me see what deals Sweetwater has today..... wink

Nothing is for sale.... NOW!!! smirk

Haha, sounds like Fran couldn’t do it it either.

I bit the bullet and sold off 35 of my teddy bears from my collection, (much to hubby’s delight. ) Best part is , I pretty much got back what I paid for them , which is novel, considering how much I always lost on sale of keyboards. I’m 4K richer. Yeh.
Lucky there’s no Genos dealers around here, make a nice down payment on one.
Have to keep reminding myself I HAVE to downsize.

I have no problem getting rid if my stuff. My rule is; if you are not using get rid of it. Then use the dollars to buy another toy.

I owned and sold two D’Angelico guitar and three D’Aquesto guitars before their values soared; for those who are not familiar with guitar todays values for the above instruments would worth more than enough for a man to retire comfortably. One of my guitars brought enough dollars to buy a new Dodge SUV.

Wow look at the money I have lost –No, what a great time I have been having.
