Hi.

I've seen some posts at fora that 'education' videos for Genos is wanted.
Maybe this is it?

QUOTE translated from German:

In this video course Jörg and Rainer show you the new flagship of Yamaha - the Genos. In more than 5 hours of video material divided into over 60 chapters you will learn all about new features, general operation and many practical tips in the dialog principle.
Additional information:
Keyboard - Genos
Language - German, English

It's baffles me why Yamaha doesn't produce these "how to Genos" videos included ? Or is this video sanction by Yamaha?
Or at least as a discounted option for buyers of Genos..

That said anything that teaches players more about their gear
is a good thing..

.... Yamaha Corporation has always been a major partner of Korg, supplying them with circuitry and mechanical parts. In 1987, shortly before the release of the M1 Music Workstation, Yamaha acquired a controlling interest in Korg's stock. The takeover of the company was amicable, with Katoh drawing up the terms, and the two companies continued to independently develop their product lines and compete in the marketplace. After 5 very successful years, Katoh had enough money to rebuy most of the Yamaha share back in 1993.

"Yamaha Corporation has always been a major partner of Korg, supplying them with circuitry and mechanical parts. "

So the Korg is made with some of the same parts and circuits as a Yamaha. shocked smile
