When you make a keyboard set or performance if you want only one or all of your upper sounds to transpose just press shift and + or _ and a screen will pop up and you can set any one or all of the 3 upper sounds to go up or down then you can save to keyboard set. This a lot better than going into sound edit and you can do it on the fly. I'm loving this new pa 1000.

Transposing only some voices and leaving along others... can be helpful in writing scores for horrow movies! smile

I'm talking about just moving the upper tracks up or down in octaves only. Real handy when you just want to drop strings on track 2 1 octave and keep tracks 1 and 3 where they are. for example if you have piano on upper 1 strings on upper 2 and choir on upper 3. It can make the keyboard set a lot richer if desired.

That is a positive improvement. I don't like raising or lowering octaves all three voices at once as with my Yamaha.

Another tip:
PA4X (don't know about 1000) has velocity control where you can access such features as BREAK/FILL by key velocity. You can set the degree of velocity that triggers the feature. There are a number of functions it can do.

This is new info for me, never seen any demo of it, or any mention it till now.
How to make it play reminds me about the neat feature 'Dynamic Accomp' at a former brand .....
