Dynamix is great. I am thinking about getting EA7 and DMX drums and bass for it. I had his samples for Korg and Yamaha too while I had those keyboards.

Dynamix does a lot of the editing on the EA7.. they are not all new samples..

Don't sell it short what you can come up with..

I think this keyboard is the best on the market for doing drums right..

Watch the process here...It's amazing how you can get your original styles to sound incredible if you dig in to the EQ editing perimeter capabilities on ANY arranger, eg: Drums kits, Bass, etc,.. as shown in this demo using Dynamix or just what you already have inside YOUR arranger KB, Yamaha, KORG, ketron, etc,.. which many players don't take the time to do, why I don't know?.........it's all in there and more. Why let the factory dictate YOUR sound dig in deep and make it your own I say!

There is indeed a lot of power in the E-A7 for drum editing. I used the Dynamix drums and liked them but I just bought one kit as I didn't think the different kits were varied enough to justify the price. Also, you can probably make the default Roland kits sound just as good if you take the time.

Hi Tracy was waiting for your reply as you already experienced at least one of the Dynamix drum kits there's so many more,....I am experimenting as you and Fran have stated also on the editing power the Roland EA7 makeup tools offer to let you get in to EACH separate part of the kit and rework it till you get the desired results as I did with my G1000, G70, BK5, etc, also. After all that's is what an arranger KB is all about creating YOUR sound with it.

Donny,

The Makeup Tools are great and probably a little easier to work with that Korg. I have had all of the "big three" now and I would have to say Roland has the easiest (and best) operating system. Everything can be on the USB drive if you prefer. Now, if they would make something with a large screen and VH, they would have a really good MOTL arranger that could compete with anyone.
