Anyway, here in Holland I have it from very reliable sources that the first batch is supposed to arrive just ahead or just after Christmas. The latter meaning they won't be distributed among the dealers until the first week of January. And I am not even sure I will get one from the first batch......., alas......

I must've missed that email. Last word I heard, here in the US, was an early December shipment, but who knows, for sure?
I'm not really in a rush. I decided (at least for a while) to leave the 1000 in my studio, and keep using the PA900 on stage. I'll make custom tweaks and trax at home and bring the data to work on a usb drive. I'd like to keep it pristine, and new for a while.

B & H web site says by end of November. Musician’s Friend says shipment by 11/27/17. Guitar Center says 12/4/17.

We were never expecting it to be announced anyway, so anytime is a gift, really.
I'm excited - I like the 900 so much, that the screen improvement alone, will make this a keeper for me ...... unless they dumb down some features that are already on the 900. (unlikely) I'm noticing the sideways placement of the USB socket - maybe the new screen, or the upgraded sound system took up more real estate under the hood. Either way - I hardly ever touch it. The USB drive I use is so teeny, that it doesn't stick up at all.

Just got word that the PA1000 is pushed back (again) to Dec 20th. Sigh ... good thing I don't NEED it.

Yea, me too-----don’t need it. I’m seriously considering ordering the Pa1000; however, with this time delay, I’ll just continue to enjoy my S970 and the latest Band In the Box upgrade. They work well for me.
