There is a report that the VH has been reworked, so we should wait and see.

No waiting allowed! You have to BUY it to know what's in it. What's the fun in having a bunch of facts to deal with? smile

Ha!!! That is so true. Nobody in my area will carry it. I will have to travel to hear it before I would pull the trigger. If the VH is reworked, great! Only a hands on demo would sway me. My trusty headphones 🎧 and my Sennheiser mic 🎤 will be my support. Give me 2-4 hours and I think I would be able to make up my mind!!

Notice how few of the Yamaha demonstrators sing? Yet, the vocalizer is a major feature, so to speak. Why do they add it to an arranger, if not important? Yamaha needs to employ some of the posters, here, to demo their products------i.e., those who sing well, while playing.

Yup. I think Bachus mentioned somewhere that it's the same old VH2 deal.

That and no tilt display..

It seems the display is permanently tilted, by sinking the bottom of the screen into the case. It looks like a good viewing angle

gotta be a cost issue. For decades, we never had tilt displays ... or touch screens ... or ANY screens, for that matter.
Man, are we spoiled.
