Anyone know if the USA logitech Z-2300 are 240V compliant?

(for the guys who dont know what I am on about: In the US the voltage is 110v and in Europe its 240v so if a device says only 110v and you plug it into a European socket, it will just burn out the device. For it to be usable in Europe it needs to be 240V compliant - normally it would be on a label nexto the powercord 110-240V)

Hello Susan,

I understand what you are saying and my advice to you is to log on to the manufacturer's site which I think is LOGITECH and ask their advice. It is possible you can get a transformer or some such device to help you but, of course, they will know exactly what you need.

Hope this helps.

mine are 120 volt 60 Hz in California. you can probably order 240 v from them direct.

Here is a link to Amazon uk who sell these speakers.
http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN...-8446690-644706

This product is for 240v

I bought Logitech Z2200 speakers whilst I lived in USA and brought them back to UK and used them through a 110v to 240V transformer and they work fine. However if they are bought in UK they will be already changed to UK voltage.
Cheers
Carol

Hi Suzan,
I have also the Z 2300 from Logitech and they are really great, Subwoofer 120 watt and satelite speakers 40 watt each.
More than enough for a little Hal.
It is a good combination with your KN 7000.

The 2300 is on sale for less then $55, after a $50 rebate at Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0002SQ2P2/ref=sr_11_1/104-7124802-1193507?%5Fencoding=UTF8

For that price, I may purchase them myself

I keep hearing really good, positive news about using our digital/stereo keyboards with these multi-channeled surround-sound setups ...

I think i'm going to try one myself.

Hopefully, the manufacturers of these pint-size wonderful component packages will see the growing interest from music-making lovers, like ourselves, and maybe, take that into consideration when designing their future models.
Maybe a version or 2 for a digital/stereo keyboard player who wants to get the keyboard out to a few backyard parties or the forest preserve picnic grove now and then, and have the capability to project the sound a little farther out there.

Logitech, have it ready for the Christmas Holiday season ... I'm putting it on my list to Santa.
