Greetings to all,
I am trying to put a scanned photo of my greatgrand daughter on the kn 7000.
I have loaded one of Cees' Demonstration files, that has worked fine.
I have tried "home page setup with picture", but my picture willnot load.
I have tried BMP and JPG formats without sucess, What am I doing wrong?

for the home page picture try resizing to 160 x 100 pixels, reduce the colour depth to 256, and then save as a bmp.

Lynette is extremely happy to be able to show off not only her keyboard but more importantly her great grand daughter.
After trials with expensive programs, the simple Paint did the job the way I wanted it.

I have 5 pictures on a floppy, all in the format described above. In the homepage upload picture, only one picture gets listed in the keyboard (pic 1), and it is the wrong format.

On the same floppy, in step record slide show upload picture, 5 are listed and upload sucessfully. (wonder why)

Obviously the homepage picture file has a different setting from the step record slide show format.

So, I could use a step by step procedure, and what software program sucsessful users used to get there pic on homepage7000.

They are just different functions with different requirements.

If the home page picture does not load it is not the right format, just use any photo editor to save it as my answer above.

Because the home page picture is much smaller than the screen it will load in the slideshow, even if not the right format to load in the home page, that's all.

Seeing only one picture in the home page load is normal on the 7k.

After trying different formats it worked ..YEA !

I saved 5 different formats, 1 on each disk, (because the homepage reads only 1 pic per disk), and I found one that worked.

A bmp file saved using Microsoft Paint
160 x100
96 DPI
8 Bit Depth
