Dom Sigalas of Yamaha demos more orchestral sounds for our listening pleasure. I had posted volume 1 a few weeks ago.
Includes woodwinds, Strings and Choir:

If they add these 8 part performances to the Tyros5 replacement (instead of L1, R1,R2,R3) that would be awesome...

It would be nice, but I still think arrangers and synthesizers are still two different cultures, the mentality of many arranger players to have everything available in a convenient way without any confusing structures is so different from that of a synth player who wants to create sounds, layer flexibly etc.
I know that Yamaha has reduced their departments to only one for arrangers and synths, but that's a cost-saving measure, I don't think it means arrangers will adopt the complex architecture of synths.

I agree with you...

Tough the way the montage works, its actually quite straightforward...

Personally i think it could be a good idea for yamaha to split the tyros legacy into two instruments... A high end psr pro, with all the capabillities of the T5 and the new stuff of the psr970...

And another one based on T5, yet picking up more workstation features that have been lost in the trasition from Motif to Montage... This instrument for pro musicians would really do well with the performances of the montage.. And the styles of the Tyros... And .. And...
