Hey, I have an old Korg 01/W FD and upon powering on lately I've been getting a low battery warning. I'm impressed it's lasted this long (about 13 years or so), but would like to get it taken care of. Is there any way I can do this myself? I have read somewhere that the battery is actually of a type easily available at Radio Shack and/or other electronics parts stores, and that it's fairly easy to install. Is this true? I would *really* like to avoid the time and money spent getting it professionally done. Can anyone give me a little info on this? Thanks.

If you're competent with a screwdriver, it's pretty easy. See http://net.indra.com/~cliffcan/01power.htm

I did it by myself using the http://net.indra.com/~cliffcan/01power.htm as Barry mentioned above - this is the best way to follow because it provides detailed, step-by-step guidelines how to do it...!
