Very similar to the Bose compact, if course they each have their own " sound ", but for the added features, like a ability to dial in the bass and top end, and bluetooth, at $300 less. it makes it really hard to pass up

I know what you mean, especially when companies rely on stereo samples to get the most out of their sounds. Well it's allot less to get to LD Maui 5s than 2 compacts
$1199.98 vs $1799.98, for a penny less than buying 2 Bose compacts, you can buy 3 LD Maui 5s

And at only 24lbs & adjustability to the sound is very Kool & easy to carry too for small gigs..

I wonder how it compares to the Bose Compact in terms of sound dispersion. With my Bose L1 Compacts I get absolutely no complaints about being to loud for the people in front or not loud enough for those in back. It all seems to be about the same level of sound for all of the audience.
