The complete style cannot be copied over even with their compilers. You will be missing the entire drum track since both audio drum formats are not compatible.
The velocity response which triggers different sounds in both machines will also not transfer over so most sounds will not sound close to the original at all.

Hi AJ,

Tx for responding. Never expected the audio drums to be copied along with the midi style. I'm sure the Audya will have fitting audio drums which could simply be browsed into those styles. Even if styles do not sound as per original, it will spark new interest into my Audya & once again give me something to tweak to my heart's content which I like to do.

Can the MidjPro styles be copied with a PC without saving them to the user styles first? Please anyone, I'm still looking for the SD7/MidjPro styles if you can help at all...

Best regards,

Henni

It works!!! See attached file for your enjoyment.

Now, would someone PLEASE tell me how to get the styles from the MidjPro? Is it like the Audya? Can you connect a PC to it & just extract the onboard styles, or is it like the SD7 where you 1st have to save every single style to a user style?

Could someone PLEASE send me their SD7 & MidjPro styles? I'll convert & post the new Audya styles here.

buildtofly@yahoo.com

Come on now you guys, let's blow some new life into our Audyas!!!

Cheers,

Henni

I guess there's a better chance of "nothing" bad happening during September 2015 than of any one responding to my request. I have a friend willing to extract his MidjPro styles for me, but he does not know how. I do not own one, so hence my request for info over here...

Too bad, I could have given the Ketron community something new to play with. Every now & then some over here cry out & beg for new Audya styles & then pay a fortune for six or so at a time. The Audya is now seven years old without anything exciting happening to it apart from the Ajam upgrade which was also long, long ago.

No wonder I lately spend so much time with the Yamaha crowd - they all work together & some new, awesome styles become available almost weekly. I guess I'd rather then focus on modifying & upgrading 2012 onwards Ketron styles to Mega technology to play in the Yamaha series.

My advice for future Ketron owners: Realize this - what you pay for is what you get. Don't bargain on adding anything substancial new or exciting to your purchase except for Ajamsonic, that is. I know they will point you to nearly 50GB of ancient stuff for it, but that's where it ends. Hope you guys don't get bored too quickly...

Hi Henni, Like you I have become bored with the Audya and a couple of weeks ago I bought a Tyros 4 and I am delighted with it. It is a bit of a learning curve but a pleasant one. I find there are some things the Audya is better for and others the Tyros is best but I am hoping to completely switch to the Tyros 4 eventually. Much more choice, lighter instrument for gigging and many more plus points. Can you please tell me where the new styles you speak of are appearing almost daily. I have loads of Tyros styles and sounds to share if you want them, Thanks in advance, Bobby

Henni I am with you 100% ,you work a lot for us and it was very appreciated ,just look at the audya files archives
AJ work a lot for us ,just see is web site and YouTube
I cannot say the samething with Ketron now I am stuck with my audya5.with problems
When I had the technics kn7000 it was for me the best arranger keyboard We have some good sequencers from the kn7000 owners etc
on the Cee s website, wonderfull intro and endings for many songs
like :keep on smiling, stardust, can help your self, miller band,....These styles was convert for Yamaha, solton, roland But the kn7000 was the best.To bad it dont exist no more.
Now I am with you when you speak about Yamaha with th psr tutorial website If you have a Yamaha s910 or s950 ect..you can have the styles from the tyros keyboards except the variation 4
and .vce
Ketron is for the $$$$$ because of there styles and sounds extensions..pat,kst
You cannot convert the audya styles for the sd5 now is the sd7 that you cannot convert for the audya I dezip the styles midjaypro but it dont work for my audya ,because of the audio drums and so forth.
What we mist is some real song styles like solton New York New York,Gigolo ect..
What will happen with our audya? maybe a miracle with Ketron no way. They want the $$$$$

Hi all,

Thank you for your replies. BobbyP, thanks but I have more than two hundred thousand styles for my Yamaha. You'll find everything you want for your Tyros 4 over at the PSRTutorial forum @ also at CreateSongStyles. Well worth the effort to belong to these two forums. Between the two you'll have a hard time even auditioning the new styles, there are just THAT many that becomes available.

I realize from the posts above that I am not alone - for me any arranger is all about styles. I get bored with old stuff very quickly. Look at cars for instance - they change shape yearly to fight off the competition. It should be just so with arrangers. Just because something is good, it does not mean it would still be good seven years later...

The Audya has a very good, refreshing, crisp, clean unplugged sound to it. However, it falls seriously short compared the the Mega guitars used in just about every Yamaha style. Also, the style programmers over there are not as talented with guitar voices in their styles as the Yamaha style creators are. Sorry to say, but never the less true.

Anyway, I tried.

All the best,

Henni
