I've had more of those I've lost count. The last one was a lady a lot more gentle. grin

Wish you son the very best Gary.

I thought this was a keyboard forum, not a doctors office. Lloyd

So sorry to hear the news about Bob. He is a great guy.
Colonoscopy saved my wife's life. She had one at 46, and they discovered colon cancer. Had surgery and chemo for a year. Now cancer-free for 10 years!

I had my first one without any medicinal assistance. I was told I couldn't drive for 24 hours legally after the procedure.

When Told i could have the procedure without "help", I chose that route. I can tell you that left turn into the large intestine is a BOOGER!

I'll have another (2nd) procedure soon, and will have it without assistance. Can't accord the time off.

I'll just "grin and BARE it!

I have had 4 or 5 - they were so enjoyable I lost count.... to me the "preparation" has always been the worst part.

Best wishes to your son Gary for his venture into "what we do when we become older and wiser"....
