I'm constantly amazed at what I can get for a new keyboard compared to the price of what I paid for a guitar.

A couple of years back, I bought a new Kennedy OM guitar, knowing that it would have a somewhat different sound and feel than other guitars I have owned.

I paid more for that Kennedy than most of you are paying for a Ketron SD7(close to a Yamaha Tyros 5) with the hope that it would hold it's value...it has..apparently keyboards don't hold their value?

Anyway, I bought the Kennedy guitar(beautiful instrument)as an investment...I won't sell it...it goes to my son.

In some ways, I'm glad I got into keyboards later in life. Had I got into keyboards earlier...given what keyboards can do for the $$$ spent, I would have a room full of them...and I really don't have the money to spend on keyboards...anymore anyway.

FWIW:

Considering what an arranger keyboard can do, especially in capable hands, the price is almost insignificant. Don't buy a sailboat, though. wink BOAT is an acronym for Break Out Another Thousand - I should know!

All the best,
