I know trying to backup the harddrive in one go wont work cause the ketron crashes also i know backing up the files one at a time the ketron doesnt crash but yesturday i backed up just the audio drums and cause the file is extra large the ketron didnt finish the backup of that file and crashed any solution pls

Hi rob,

best solution :

Open the Audya, extract the harddisk and connect it via an adaptor direct to your PC.

A complete HD backup needs only about 20 Minutes !!!

BTW: Copying "file by file" is not the correct way, if you put these files to another hd ( in case of an crash of the original hd ) it won´t work.

Backing up rigistrations, userstyles and so on works fine.

But for a "complete" backup you need appropriate software ( e.g. CloneZilla, or Acronis True Image )

Thanks for the info snoppy yes i tried to aviod opening up the keyboard cause too much hassle but thats the only option thanks
