Good find, Deane. Quite likely this one replaces the PSR-S650...I suspect the other new models will have the "70" in their name as well; PSR-S970, PSR-S770, etc..
It looks to have Fingered On-Bass which is a good sign indeed, but no dedicated MIDI ports.
There are a lot more arps in the multi-pads, and new styles seem to be mostly in the World and Dance & R&B sections.
Looks wise, it appears to be a bit chunkier than current models.

All Yamaha's present mid-range series instruments (S950, S750) are clearly intended as "home keyboards" first, with, of course, many pro (stage) players taking advantage of the high feature per cost ratio.
The PSR-S670 will be on the bottom rung of the new "70" mid-range series...quite likely to be called PSR-S970, PSR-S770, etc.
I would consider the SD-7 a home keyboard as well.

I believe Arranger Keyboards will stay at a basic level; in other words, they will still use styles (auto-accompaniment) which defines what they are. If you can get into style editing, the instrument won't grow old so quickly. I know several players still using Tyros2's and PSR-3000's and have no intention of upgrading, mainly because they have learned to edit and re-assemble styles. The Audya is another example of an arranger than could be considered a long-term investment. I must say, I'm very happy with the level of my Tyros4, and it would take quite a lot to tempt me into buying anything else...in spite of having the T4 for a few years now and playing it extensively everyday, I'm still on the honeymoon.
