Well, I just had to come out from under my rock and comment on this. Now I understand why you're all so complimentary of each other - you're all tone deaf. Or, in this particular case, listening with your genitals instead of your ears. Apparently, that goes for Simon as well. That had to be one of the WORST renditions ever, of one of my favorite songs. Aside from needing at least three auto-tune units set up serially, her sense of song dynamics is nothing less than atrocious.

Nice bod though, cute face too. I'd marry her, but only if she promised to never sing that song again in life.

She and Michael Buble would probably have really cute (but tone deaf) kids. Have a nice day everyone, and LISTEN to Diki smile . He is wise even beyond his own estimation.

Chas,

You're still alive? Damned, I thought you had kicked the bucket and no one told us you died.

As for listening with MY genitals - NAH! Hell, I'm older than you, and that's older than I would like to admit. I stopped listening with that body part a long time ago when I auditioned my first female vocalist.

Now, this gal can really sing, but early on in the song she was singing well below her vocal range, and was a bundle of nerves. But, as the song progressed she got her emotions under control and really nailed it.

Now, get back under that rock before the stick holding it up snaps, the rock falls, crushes your skull, and you end up with the mental intellect of Boo. wink Just kiddin'

Cheers,

Gary cool

Gary, just having a little fun. BTW, congrats on that fantastic sailing adventure of yours. Only one word comes to mind; JEALOUSY! Make that two words - EXTREME JEALOUSY! You did what most of us would like to do but don't have the balls to do. I'm thinking about doing something similar but in a Class A diesel motorhome. Not nearly the challenge of your adventure but it beats sitting around waiting to die. At one point, I'd thought about doing it on motorcycle but decided (wisely) that I was probably too old for any more 'ironbutt' rides. Also, congrats on the new board. Nobody can accuse you of rushing into things smile. Ok, back under the rock.

Thanks Chas, good to see you posting again. I was wondering what happened to you. Take that trip - believe me, you only get one shot at this kind of stuff.

OK voice quality, but she really destroyed "My Funny Valentine".

Checked out a couple of her pop oriented videos and she did really well.

Hey, Chas. Great minds think alike!

Ok, so she had a couple flat spots and could have had lower lows. NOBODY here has? She was nervous as hell. I loved it- loved the arrangement and her sultry styling of the song. There are all kinds of versions of this where the singers put there own twist on it. I know there are many that think When she got going her creativity and deepness into the song was something I would challenge all of the perfect pros here to replicate.

In another post I asked who was next to knock off the pedestal- it didn't take long to get an answer....

Very impressed with this girl singer.

Apart from doing a good job on this big song, remember,

she was standing on a stage singing to a big audience and being

scrutinised by a panel of judges. At the end of the song take

note of the audience reaction.

I hope she has great success.
