I am using a Bose Compact and a Korg pa800.

Is there a way to send the keyboard out with one output to the Bose and then send my microphone with effects out the second output to the Bose microphone channel?

I know that both the keyboard and the microphone can go out on one output of the Kor, but I am trying to get my microphone to go into the microphone channel of the Bose with effects..

Only if the Korg has a secondary output that can be dedicated for just the mic with effects.

I don't believe that many arrangers have this. My G70 does, but the BK-9 doesn't. I don't believe the T4 has a mike only output pair, nor the PA3Xpro. And I'm fairly sure no MOTL arranger does.

PA800 has main lr outputs,plus two more outs that you can asign what do you want to put through those once. But if I can remember those are dry outputs.So no efx.I am not sure.I sold my pa800 long time ago.

Since I am using only one output channel on the pa800 to Bose, if I was to pan left for the keyboard and then pan right for the microphone --- does that sound like a possibility?

I just made that up – kinda stupid eh? There are A & B outputs on the keyboard. Forget the manual.

I'll take a look at the manual and see if there's something you can do along those lines, but from what I recall, I don't believe it was possible. Not a stupid question, though. If you can do it, it would be a neat feature.

I just scanned the manual and it appears that you cannot assign just the mic to an output channel. However, a good workaround would be to use a small mixer with effects, then output the mixer to the Bose L1 Compact's mic input channel, which would provide you with a separate volume and EQ control. Or, if you need harmony, use a TC Helicon Harmony-M, which provides you with a great sound reverb, vocal harmony, and other neat effects. Fire the Harmony-M's output into the Bose L1 Compact Mic input and you've got the best of both both worlds.

The PA800 manual suggests that you can pan all instruments to right output and microphone to the left output.

Page 94 says that you can pan all instrument tracks from full right to full left

Page 234 covers the voice processor, and says that the Pan knob adjusts panning for the Lead voice. L64 (panned fully left) to R63 (panned fully right).

I read that part too, Duane, but I'm not sure if the accompaniment can be separated from the Mic. Unfortunately, I'm working blind on this one, and can only go by the manual, which like all user manuals, is poorly writen and constructed.
