I did a great NH show at Franklin Woods Center here in Baltimore. I got home in plenty of time to fire up the grill for everyone. Who else worked today?

I did too, Wild Horse Pass Casino.
I play as single, and also as a duo with my friend Michael Carollo, he also plays as single, 2 Tyros on scene...

I did a Memorial Day Ceremony that kicked off at 11 a.m., only had to play Taps, God Bless America, and all of the service hymns. Finished at 11:45 a.m., was home an hour later, the grill was fired up at 4:30 and the Margarettas were flowing.

While cruising down the Intra-Coastal Waterway passing through South Carolina I had the opportunity to stop at a marina restaurant for supper. On the menu was a Hamburger Deluxe, which I ordered. I was growing weary of eating fish, TV dinners, and Chef Boyarde out of the can. I'm trying to keep my weight at a reasonable level and ordered it without the bun.

When the burger came it was smothered in sauteed onions and mushrooms and the aroma was incredible. It was much larger than most, probably at least 1/3-pound and fire-grilled to perfection. One bite and I asked the waitress to send the chef out. She said "Is there something wrong?" I told her "No, it's probably the best burger I've tasted in my entire life."

The chef came out and I begged him for the recipe. His secret ingredient was Jimmy Dean sausage, which he mixed with the ground beef at a 25/75 ratio. He also added his homemade roasted garlic paste, some Montreal Steak Seasoning, Italian Bread Crumbs, and he basted the burger with Yoshida Gourmet Sauce. It was incredible! Thought I would share the recipe with the good folks on this forum.

Enjoy,

Gary cool

I did too! Nothing special about this one though. Thought the "veteran" residents were short changed - not much attention to them other than what I did.

I did a Memorial Day house party on Sun and a NH on Monday morning. I got home in time to do lots of yard work which included moving about 2.5 tons of rocks. Now my back is kinda of sore and I'm actually glad to be back to my day job. Too many chores at home!

Regular private club gig, but on the patio for a cook-out. A little chilly for my tastes.
