Hi all,

The Dutch keyboardforum(.nl) has initiated a contest (Dutch and Belgian users only) together with Roland Central Europe where I can win a Roland BK-9. The only thing I had to do was submitting a picture - and now collecting votes. Since I am Dutch, free stuff is always welcome

Haha, thank you. My picture is based on the advertisements of a Dutch insurance company. They had a campain called 'Even Apeldoorn (city of their HQ) bellen', translated Let's call Apeldoorn. If you see some of their old commercials, you understand the concept of the picture:

Just a FYI,
A lot of these voting sites use a system where it is possible to cast more than one vote per day.
Sometimes you can cast second third, fourth votes by using different browsers, firefox, safari etc. and also by using different devices such as pc, cell phone, android tablet or IPad.

Sorry, I tried to cast a second vote using chrome, but could not. will try others. If I succeed I will let you know.

Also tried just now using IPad with safari and again I could not cast a second vote.
Roland seems to have a very good system in place.

Hi,
unfortunately, I got the "Sorry" page also.

They blocked all foreign IP's, because there is some trouble with proxy voting that can't be solved yet. So outside Belgium and the Netherlands nobody can vote, which is killing for my campaign, since all my votes are collected by asking foreign people to vote :-(

Nevertheless, if they are going to chance the system and you can vote again I'll let you all know.

The system is working again, all votes has been reset to 0, so you can all vote again.

I made a short how-to video:



You can now vote 1 time per IP adress, so no multiple voting system anymore. This means that you can vote 1 time with any computer in your home that is connected to the internet, 1 time with your mobile phone that is connected to the 3G/4G network, etc.
