You are so right, Tony. For years I thought I was invincible, and now, I'm beginning to pay the price. I used to stay up for days at a time...work three jobs...party night after night.
Now, I'm dealing with high blood pressure and damage from a severe injury to my left hand, complicated by arthritis.
Years ago, as a kid, I froze part of my left lung in Alaska. Now, during the last few months, I have been in major pain from the resulting, recurring inflammation , requiring anti inflammatory meds (Celebrex) and steroids (not fun on the stomach).
This morning, I lost a set of keys and drove all around town searching for them; so the memory is slipping.
The take-away, for me is, most of all, appreciate the things and people you have around you. Do what you can for deserving others.
Best regards and appreciation,
Russ
