Hi, I was wondering if anyone could offer advice regarding where to find a Super JV-1080 Mainboard (the expansion board and the rest of it are fine) ? Mine was damaged and they appear easy enough to swap out.

I'd prefer to not have to buy another entire JV on eBay if there is a better option.

Thanks for any ideas!

- Steve

Have you tried locating a Roland serviceman in your local area to see if he has this or can obtain it? Any local music store that has to repair Roland gear under warranty will have to use an authorized serviceman.

Thanks Nigel, I'm waiting on a quote from the local Roland authorized tech. I called Roland and they said they could sell me a mainboard for $651...ha

So far, eBay looks like my best option with 1080's going for under $200 but I wasn't sure if someone knew of a place that sells legacy parts just in case.

I guess it looks like buying a cheap JV1080 on eBay may be your best option. If you can buy one for $200 that is probably the way to go, and just keep your other one for other parts if you need them in the future.
