I currently produce Electro with software and softsynths. I am looking for advice on purchasing hardware, particularly synths for electro music. I'm talking spacey sounds, bleeps, beeps, etc...

thanks in advance.

Get whatever was used on Chemical Brother's 'Base 6'.

Try a Novation synth, they make some pretty powerful synths. Lots of knobs, lots of parts, lots of polyphony.
