Doesn't look like a huge upgrade in OS but it looks like Korg listens to the users and fixes the things that need to be fixed. Gives me more confidence that Korg stands by their product and wants users to keep using it for a while.

Yamaha just keeps coming out with relabeled keyboards. It makes customers upset when they just saved enough to pull the trigger on, let's say a Tyros 3, and shortly after that, the Tyros 4 comes out.

I'm really leaning towards the PA3X for my update from my Tyros 2 and Motif XF. Only time will tell.

"(Lyrics - TXT File) When a different Style is manually
selected, the selected TXT file is not unloaded. You can
also switch between Style Play and Song Play mode
(and vice-versa) without the TXT file being lost. The TXT
file is only unloaded when choosing a different Song-
Book entry."

This alone is BIG for me. Before, if you loaded a text file, then changed styles manually, the text file was unloaded.

There are also new styles, new sounds, etc.
Can't wait to install it.

No improvement to the CS though. Very disappointing. I was hoping that at the least a CS could be saved with a Songbook entry.

Also no improvement to the CS in regard to key changes or variation selection.

And the MAXX audio issue where it automatically reverts to the global default after 15 seconds (when no battery is connected) is also not mentioned in the upgrade manual as being a fix. It was stated by Korg Italy it would be.

Apart from bug fixes, a bit underwhelming really. AS this is not a Korg Forum I will leave it at that. wink

As I sit here eating homemade Italian Sausages & Long Hot Peppers reading these posts, IMO,..Korg is really listening to the customers and I would bet in future updates will address many of the needs & requests of their customers as time goes by..
Don I can see why your so happy dancers with the new Updates on TXT for sure,...good luck. clap
