Sorry for second post...
Program Slots I mean the VOICE positions that we put the Sounds GM, MSP, or INS in any Program...

Please copy the folder in your Audya..

1)Load MSP All sounds one by one with Enter.

2)Select a Program from Audya that you want to Reaplace with a my Program, and from USER DATA_PROGRAMS FOLDER Press Enter in any PRG File that you want...

3)Now Press Edit and in the positions VOICE of program sounds (Left, Medium, and Right), put the MSP that corresponds, (press RAM/SFX to see the MSP sounds... See the Text File VOICE positions, and when is ready the Program Press SAVE...

Unfortunately Ketron has not have single, like Korg, Yamaha, Roland, Set to make USER SET....

Oh my goodness
This is great.
I LOVE staccato heaven
How does it sound on Audya?

Sokratis. I have to sit and try this if I can figure out how :-)

I just want to say THANK YOU for sharing your talent and time with the rest of us
I think I speak for EVERYONE here when I say MUCH appreciated....

Cant wait.... Does this require more memory? Do I have to expand Audya memory to fit all these new sounds???

Hi Sokratis. First of all...VERY GOOD JOB!

But there is way of simplifying things. Your programs rely on the MSP files being loaded in the correct order, but you do not mention what order to load them in (alphabetical does not appear to be correct as once your SPG is loaded the wrong sounds appear in the screen), which is why each program has to be edited.

Once you have loaded the MSP and the SPG files and each is saved, you can copy the "programs40A.prg" file from system/init folder which will contain all of your modified programs. But the order of loading the MSP is critical. I would suggest an autoload would be a good idea.

Will have a play around with this to see if its possible to make it easier to install.

So far the ones I have tried are very good indeed. Thank you.

FANTASIA_D50 has three voice slots used in your SPG, however only slots one and two are specified. Should there be a third voice? If not the panning s incorrect as slot one in 54L and slot two is <I>

EDIT: ok, I think you made a mistake in the txt file. slot two should be the GM voice "Dark Ensemble" Slot 1 and 3 should be FANTASIA_D50 is that right?

Thanks guys....

Daren....

I know your way that you say , but I would like the users to select one by one the Programs, and these they select the Programs that she like...
If create a Blog Sound file and after put the Voice in the Programs, any time the sounds is ready when turn the keyboard.
But it is it should it becomes when completed the project....
Now you can to select a Program for example in SXF Bank, and from there try one by one the Programs.
However if I see that it really cannot they accomplish him, I will think the solution that is proposed....

FANTASIA_D50 have 3 voices.... Right Slot=MSP Fantasia_D-50, Med=Slot Strings GM Factory sound, and Left Slot= Fantasia_D-50 MSP...

Dusan..
I have directives in my second post..
copy the folder in your Audya..

Ok, I understand.

However, If anyone wishes to try the way I loaded the program file is attached.

1) Connect your Audya to your computer.
Locate the SYSTEM/INIT folder and make a backup of the file "programs40A.prg"

2) unzip the programs40A.zip folder in the attachment and copy the contents (programs40A.prg) to your system/init folder on your audya and overwrite the original. (presuming you have made a backup of the original of course)

3) copy sokratis MSP files to your Audya's MSP directory and load one at a time in alphabetical order.

That should be it, but you will need to reload the msp files everytime you turn the Audya on, in the same alphabetical order.

You will find Sokratis Synth sounds in the EFFECT/SFX tab

Attachments
programs40A.zip (39 downloads)

it only took me some minutes..nothing compared to the amount of time and effort you put in to create the sounds and programs, which are very lovely indeed and I for one am extremely grateful for.

So when is part two? wink

Hi,

If your happy to load Sokratis Vintage Synths each time you start up the Audya I made all the files you will need:
DivShare File - sokratis_synths.zip

1) Download the zip file and unzip it to your desktop (or wherever)
2) connect the Audya to your computer
3) Back Up your "programs40A.prg" file (located in your Audya Hard Drive: SYSTEM/INIT )
4) Copy the contents of the "sokratis_synths.zip" to the audya making sure everything goes in the correct place:
- "sokrates.rbk" and the "vintage_synth" folder both go in ":/instruments" folder
- "programs40A.prg" goes in the ":/system/init" folder
5) disconnect your audya from you computer.
6) On the audya select the RAM INS button, then press the EDIT button.
7) scroll down until you see "SOKRATES.RBK" and press F8; A.Load ON (if its already ON, turn it OFF first)
8) Press EXIT again
9) Press SAVE
10) Select Custom Start Up.
11)Turn OFF the Audya and then Turn it back ON.
12) Press the PROGRAM button and then the Effect/SFX tab. You should have 1 and half pages of Sokrates excellent vintage synths.

I think that should do it.

Reload the msp files?
Anyway around that?
Is it because Audyas memory is very small?

Anyway to have let's say JUST the Staccato Heaven load every time?

Or is that something totally different

no its the same...see above posts, but the MSP files need to be located in the INSTRUMENTS folder otherwise they cannot autoload.

prgrams40A.prg is the file that keeps all of your Programs in. whenever you make a change and press save this file is overwritten by the Audya. So if you do make up your own programs its good to know that you can always make a backup of that file.

If you replace it with the one I created, It has Sokrati's Programs already set up to save you the process of loading each individual program and then modifying the sounds within to match the RAM locations of the MSP files.

If your not comfortable changing the programs40A.prg file just follow Sokratis original instructions.

then assuming that I want to load at startup in addition to the sounds that I already loaded , two of these , as I do? I load them, I modify the program as he said with. Msp and save everything in my file. Rbk. right?

thats correct. It helps greatly to have the MSP files in the INSTRUMENTS folder though. I have made another folder inside. This enables autoloading.

Start -> Control Panel

(Make Sure LARGE ICONS are displayed instead of CATEGORY VIEW - top right hand side)

-> Folder Options -> View (tab)

Select "Hidden Files and Folders"

and

Uncheck "Hide Protected operating System Files"

Hi Dusan, You cannot make this change from your Audya..You must do this from your PC as described, once done it will apply the settings to all connected drives including any USB drives or external hard drives (such as Audya) and not just the computers Local drive.
