I had a px 330 for over a year...just didn't like the difference in decay between the middle C and second octave...traded for a Yamaha mox8...much happier....stevec

Sounds like Casio has addressed the short delay problem. I wonder if the rhytms are flexible enough to be used as a pro preformance arranger? If anyone demos one of these please post your impressions.

Bill I doubt it, ....if you need a Piano with great arranger functions and styles take a look at the KORG 588

KORG 588

Don

I briefly looked at the 588 a while ago. I believe its the same as your 500. Big problem is its 67 lbs. I'm getting tired of schelping my 35lb G1000, with hard case 50LBs. Maybe a 500 for gigs and pa588 for home practice. Still like to get more info on the 25 Lb privia. I've been kicking the idea around for a BK7M tied to a PX3. Just sold one of my G1000's so I'm getting closer . Thanks for the info, very nice board

There's no need for a module if you buy a 3x - it'd be such a redundancy, even if you just wanted a few more sounds and styles. the 3x has it all built in.

Dave

I think your confusing the Korg 3x with the Casio Privia Px3 piano. It would be the BK7m module for an arranger and the Casio for a good keyboard and maybe the piano sounds, which is what I find myself mainly using lately.
I'm with Fran, I can't afford a Korg 3X.
Wish I could just line them all up and spend a day playing around with them.

Wait a minute! ! If Fran brings his BK5, you bring the P3X pro and Donny brings the Pa500 we could have a shootout. Anyone want to jump in with a Yamaha?
I'll buy the beer and pizza. Maybe sell the results to Keyboard Mag and all go out to dinner with the proceeds. A plan so crazy "it just might work"

The new Privia PX150 will street at $599 and the PX350 will street at $799. Both will have the new ivory/ebony keybed but the PX350 will also record audio on a SD card. The new Yamaha P-105 will also street at $599 and will also have 128 note polyphony.
