If anyone is interested, Yamaha have released a new Firmware updated version 1.3 for the Tyros 4.

Details can be seen on the www.ukyamaha.com site.

You're welcome Al.

In case you are not aware of it, there is now a new Yamaha Members Forum which can be found at the following address:-

www.yamahakeyboard.co.uk

It has been updated and is now very much like our Technics site, offering several topics of interest.

I disagree with the remark: very much like this Technics site. In the beginning it was, but now the style is changed to black in a way that I don't like. But it is a matter of taste

Hello Fred,

I don't like the black screen either, I find it tiring on the eyes. There has recently been a discussion on this on their Forum and I commented on the colour and the fact that our Technics site give you the option of changing the colour of the screen - to suite personal needs. To date, there has been no comment - which is not surprising, because certain members of the Forum will not hear anything said against Yamaha even if it is meant to be helpful.

I also think the Main screen is too cluttered (as the saying goes "you cannot see wood for trees") No! you can't beat this site particularly it's friendliness.

Finally, you might like to know I am still using the SD Explorer Card it is really great. Are you likely to produce anything on that line for the Yamaha keyboards, if so, I'd like to know about it please.

Regards,

Audrey
