There is a PA1X for sale in my area for $1700

I'm somewhat interested, but the price seems a little high.

Look on Ebay there are a few about £900 or $1500 don't forget Larry its a buyers market and this is older technology if you fancy one you should be able to get one for less than $1500. What color are you going to paint it when you get it, Groove Red, hell that will look good.

i do . It will beat the yamaha S910 if you hold the instrument for longer than a year and dig into its features and learn what the PA1X can really do. The reason it has held its value even though it is an 8 year old keyboard is beacuse it is so good. I am not trying to sell the instrument to you but i have passed over the PA800, PA2X and PA3X beacuse in reality they dont offer anything more sonically than what i already have in the PA1X . It really is an incredible instrument and it still amazes and inspires me even after 5 years of owning one.
