Mikey...
I was using a foldable tv table for awhile...but it wasn't very professional looking or stable...just convenient.

Since leaving it on a job, I got a conductor music stand which holds the mixer, and cordless mic when I need one. The face plate is solid, no holes, and I suppose you could put a glass or bottle of water on it...but I don't usually put liquids anywhere near my electronics.

Mine is similar to the one shown in the link below, except the feet fold up for transport.

I made one that fit on the keyboard stand where no one could see it, but it was very easy to access with your right hand. You can find details on how I made it on the PSR Tutorial dot com site.

I use a table made by Lifetime. One piece, easy to set up and light weight. can be set at multiple heights. Very well made.

I bought mine at Sam's club.

A sturdy music stand works well. I also have a folding plastic table that is actually for an RV and it's nice because it folds flat. This...

Thanks, This looks like its just what i need. I'm looking for pack flat. Any idea how high it is when engaged. Seems pretty sturdy?

I bought one of these at Walmart:
http://www.walmart.com/ip/Cosco-26-Personal-Folding-Table-Set-of-4/13269099
The web site shows only set of four, but my Walmart sells them one by one also.
It's sturdy enough for a mixer, folds flat and quite inexpensive.
