AJ

I have installed all the program 4.0 again and the problem continues.

When the keyboard is playing hard the preset
"miller" stay mute.

I tried to modify "VEL.CURVE" and I found out that until FIXED 95 its play well, above this value it becomes mute. This is a problem with my keyboard or a bug?

Thanks,

Ricardi

I have tried to play the preset "Miller" at higher velocities and you are right: it plays only below 95; I guess that the sound is assigned to a velocity switch and, now that they changed the sounds stored in the flash memory, the sound assigned to the higher velocities is gone. I think it's a bug and they will fix it in a future OS update.
Other sounds are changed as well; for example "Golden trumpet" had a velocity switch too; now it plays the same sound from 1 to 127; the velocity switch, on the other hand, has been assigned to "Trumpet". Frankly, I liked the old "Golden trumpet" more (it was one of my favorite SD1 sounds).

SD_FAN,

Thanks for noticing this (an error that slipped by unfortunately). This can be corrected as you mentioed above [I tried to modify "VEL.CURVE" and I found out that until FIXED 95 its play well, above this value it becomes mute.] and saved into PRESET (such that the error is eliminated).

The error lies within the sound files (which you can correct and re-save) and is not within the OS.

Thanks,

AJ

To make the miller voice work, here's what to do:
1) select miller voice from sax catagory
2)exit back to the main screen
3)push the * and # at the same time(this puts you into the preset edit page}
4)go to the page using the page buttons till you see the velocity window parameters
5)Change from velocity low to normal using the function buttons and the value up and down buttons
6)Push Save/Enter
7)Push the F8 function button next to the save to preset
8)you can also save to disk which will put your changes on the hard drive rather than to the preset. Remember, if you do this you will have to do the procedure over again and save as a preset. The reason for this is that when you save to disk, the screen for editing goes away and you have not saved it anywhere but on the hard drive.

You are "The Best".

Thanks for all. I'll try to do that only at night. (now in Brazil it is 8:30 AM and I go to my job).
