In a thread at the General arranger forum Dom said this:

"Login on gFTP and start to download for FREE the new Yammy YXG-GIGAT2 folder.
8.4Gb data, 1003 new Gigasounds.
Tastenpoint audio styles are based also with this new library, you need it for play this styles.
Enjoy"

Can anyone explain to me where I can download those sounds?
Dom: I also tried to download the Soundbank XP from Lionstracs web page but it does not show the link anywhere if I don't pay for it.

Thanks.

Victor

Launch gFTP on your Mediastation and in bookmarks select Lionstracs.
You should be able to see the files at this point.

Haven't downloaded them myself, but I believe they are there now.

Thank you James. I'm so ignorant about computers I didn't even know about gFTP. Now I've been able to see the files but I can't download the complete folder, I can only download one file (sound) at a time which will be a very hard work I guess.

Hi vagro

You just touch the folder YXG-GIGAT2 and press the arrow that points to the Left. Everything will start to download file by file at this point.

I did what you said and it works fine first downloading all the folders (empty) then it starts to download some files into the first folder and all of sudden its stops and it shows the following message:
Recv (XXX number) of (XXX number) transfer stalled, unknown time remaining

Then I have to close the gFTP screen and start all over again.
Has anyone downloaded these folders yet?
I only downloaded one folder so far. May be the server is busy.
I'll try this again later

The location of the files has changed. When I told you were they were yesterday, I started downloading myself about an hour later and when I went looking for the files they had moved.

So maybe you were downloading at the time someone moved them.

No problems here. I have downloaded 4GB so far and I'll get the rest of the files today.

James

James

I saw the files were moved. I tried many times to download them and after a while I always receive that message, sometimes it takes a few minutes and it goes on downloading, other times it stops for a long time so I think this might take days and I prefer not to keep my MS turned on for so long. I'd rather do this with my PC so....

AFG music:

Can you show me privately how I can use my Pc to download these files. I already downloaded this: http://filezilla-project.org/ but I have not installed it yet in my PC (windows XP). You don't have a mail in your profile but I do so probably you could explain to me step by step and briefly how to do it. I guess it will take you much less time than answering Diki.

Thank you

Victor
