I use a sp202 which is extremely tight and will teach you good finger speed, but you better have something to sequence it with because quantize on there only kinda works. i use a dr-202

Between the Dr-sampler 202 and the Yamaha Su10, (su10, right?) go for the su10. It has better sound quality (records at CD quality). But those samplers aren't really the best for the money you are spending. Go a bit higher for the Zoomtrack phase sampler or the new Korg samplerbox (forget the name. It looks like the new analog box they got out now.) Both are about $100 more and have nice realtime effects on them.
