I talked to a Roland Dealer yesterday who told me the new E-80 is only going to be sold in Europe and countries other than the U.S.
Is this true?
I am a Korg Pa1X user now, and I am hoping that the new Roland will be an excellent arranger with sounds and style equal to the Korg. I do know that the Roland has 128 notes of Polyphony vs 64 notes on the Korg.
What do you know of the Roland E-80 and will it be sold in the U.S.?

Stan,
I am a Roland dealer for the G70 here in the USA (Southern California) and when I spoke with my sources at Roland US, I was told that the current model being shown would not be sold here UNTIL.....the styles are changed to something more suited for the US market. Many of the styles in the E80 are geared for the European market. I've also been told that Roland was already working on new styles for the US version.

George,
That's good news. Please give us a "heads up" if you hear anything. I just may order one from you. You sound like an "involved" Dealer.
Thanks, Stan
