Thank you for the response. I actually listened to the Arp Omni demo several times. I am very impressed with the Quality of strings given the age of the instrument (the time in which it was manufactured). There is some analog warmth feeling in its sounds that I can detect but cannot explain.

Your Welcome sk880user! That warm feeling that you detect is a result from Voltage controlled osccialtors. The omni is also analog not digital. Which means it uses electricity to recreate the sounds and not binary information as with digital synths. The omni does have curcit boards inside but they are integreated curcits. The omni was made before the inebtion of the microchip.

Hi there,

i listened the mp3 too, very nice quality zounds, it reminded me of the wersi instruments late 70's do you know this instruments??
You could try on ebay germany www.ebay.de this is( was) also a very good instrument with nice sounds.

Yes I had heard of Wersi, they also made home organs.
