The Compact is working just great! I played this afternoon and was so impressed with the sound of my new s900 thru the Compact. I had a good number of people come up afterward (both residents and visitors) and compliment on the clear sound. I guess the Compact is the best purchase I've made in a very long time.

Bill C has a T1 that he uses with his L1 setup and I think it really improves the sound even further. That's why I'm looking for the T1.

I agree. I have the compact and the T1. Wheras it sounds great alone , the T1's Tonematch optimizes the sound for each specific intrument , as well as vocal. In my case , having the extra inputs is an added bonus. Good luck finding a used one.

I agree. I have the Compact, had the T1, which I returned. In my case, I didn't need the extra inputs (SD5 has 2 mic inputs) and eq thru the KB. Definitely improved the sound and returning it was a close call.

The T1 is super in my book. I use it with the the Bose L1 Model II, along with backing tracks, guitar, and vocals. It works great in a recording setting as well. I probably need to upgrade my T1 to the most recent updates, which I've not done. However, it sounds great as is. I'm most impressed with the vocals, for those of you who might be singers. On guitar, believe it or not, I'm running a Fender electric through a nylon guitar patch. Provides a nice, mellow, jazzy sound, which fits the settings where I play.
