I found the overall volome of the Tyros3 a bit lower than the other two...was the song volume at default?

Why not compared with the Roland e 80 or g70 then definitely Roland will win.

I had all 3 playing through a mixer, and I did my best to have them all peak about the same on the recorder. I would have loved to use a Roland but they do not feel I'm a worthy store.

I found the bass in the Audya rather overpowering.

The other two sounded as expected, but the Audya clearly sounds different...piano was very phasey, booming bass, righteous drums, vocal sounds were good.

All three certainly could be tweaked to sound much better, but it is enlightening to hear how each handles a raw SMF.

Thanks Frank.

Oh yeah...how would I rate them as heard?

1.Korg PA2XPro

2.Yamaha Tyros3

3.Ketron Audya
