Yamaha may have a huge third party library, but honestly, since Mega voices came out, who makes third party styles that are as good as Yamaha's? No users that I've heard yet...

You want a bunch of styles that sound like a PSR from the eighties or nineties, fine. But I've heard little that sounds like it might belong in the ROM of a T3

And c'mon, guys... if the Wersi (already considerably more expensive than anything else) comes out with a 76 with a MORE advanced OAS than current Wersi's do, do you think for one minute it's going to be LESS expensive than a single manual Abacus? (What are they? about eight or nine grand ?)

Hi Diki

Information leaking out, suggests it will be significantly cheaper then the Abacus. (Remember the Abacus is from the Organ Line, Not the Portable Keyboard Line, the Ikarus (Even though it had 76) was also significantly cheaper then the Abacus, as this also came from the portable keyboard line)

I would have thought that the OAS hardware and software would be what pushes the price on this into the stratosphere, not the dated Wersi organ sounds (most OAS users are big into B4, anyway). If the hardware is downscaled to compete even at Ketron's price level (let alone Korg or Yamaha), just how well is it going to run multiple VSTi's?

LOL...

I must admit, that's an awfully high premium to pay to make the GUI and integration a bit simpler than a Muse Receptor or even building your own clone and running a VSTi Rack...

But what the heck.... Bentley owners pay a fortune so they can stash the umbrella in the door...
