I got to meet Paul Harvey while in high school in the 70s. My communications class toured some Chicago tv and radio stations and he was there to receive some award and he took some time to talk with us. He was clever and promoted radio over television as a career for us to think about. This was while we were in a television station and the assistant manager kept trying to move us along, but Paul kept promoting radio! He spent a good 30 minutes with us and he was the nicest part of our tours. Later we learned he was 10 minutes late to receive his award and it wasn't shown live on the noon news as planned. He certainly gave us a "good ................. day" I will never forget. I'll miss him. His style was one of a kind! -charley

I always looked forward to hearing Paul's broadcasts. I've listened to him all my life. Whenever I had a grammar question I could always ask myself "How would Paul Harvey say it". Paul always said it correctly. He will be missed.
