A fitting compliment to Chuck Wheeler's excellent vocals. As you and I've concured with each other in our telephone conversations over the years, our best stuff is live when we've got an audience to play to. Bravo!\

Scott

Hi ScottY

Thanx, much appreciated. You're right about the live play being the time to record.

Thanks so much for sharing your music. Its speaks volumes.

Thanx for the kind words. Yes, the guitar I'll probably try a different one next time. I could hear in my mind what I wanted to get, kind of the B.B. King sound but while the sound I used passed in the live situation I was wanting those high notes to come off a bit differently.

And the quality of the "on the fly" recording is a testament to the advances in technology we sometimes take for granted. To pull off a recording like that just a few years ago on a live gig would have required half a truck load of sound gear and a sound man. Keep up the great work!

Randy

Hi Randy

Very much appreciated

Scott, this is very well done, a terrific "live" performance for sure.

Love the licks you played behind the singing...just enough...very tasteful.

The singer is excellent, by the way...great phrasing.

Ian

Thanx Ian, your comments are appreciated.

Sounds good! One remark though (coming from a drummer ... Cut back a little on the fills. There are too many in this song, and since there is very little variety in them, it's just "too much".

Thanx for the comments, as a drummer myself, I thought the same thing. A little lighter fill would have been my preference, although doing it live as basically an unrehearsed experiment, it came off and seemed to fit the energy of the room at the time. A lot is lost just listening to an audio recording it seems to me.
