Hello. Okay, I haven't been active for awhile as I've been fighting some serious health problems but I haven't given up on my music. I recently aquired a Yamaha psr S900 and also a Korg PA800. I also own a PA1x, a kn7000, Ketron Vega and a Tyros 1. I bought most of them at a great discount from Junkie's Auction on Ebay(no longer doing business, too bad) because they were damaged. Anyway, I use them for my songwriting. I personally like the ones w/ the most realistic style play. I like the psr S900 as I can put a lot of variation in.

As I was saying. I've been working w/ the yamaha S900 and like the style play buttons as they seem are easier to navigate. (only have to tap the main variation for a fill and it seems to have pretty realistic sounds (quite an improvement from past years). I had to have the Korg PA800 repaired(under warranty) and haven't really gotten around to it again yet. The vocal harmony I use is the Digitech Studio Vocalist EX. (rather dated now).

I agree, but the S900 still has the honor of being the "best bang for the buck".

But what has anything here got to do with the thread title...?

Nice to hear from you, Guardman, but was there a question? Neither of the posts had one...

The "best arranger" is the one someone prefers....

For me ....Yamaha

Because I'd rather play than read...

The best arranger is the one I have to get up from to acknowledge a standing ovation.

It is simple.....the "best arranger" is the one you feel is the best for you..and not what any one else thinks is best...

I choose Roland G70...

i like my G-70, but lately ive been using my Ketron XD3,

my Ketron has more "punch" and sounds more natural than G-70,

i like to use both, depending on the style i need...

my next will either be Audya or T3
