Manny,

Sounds good, I also hear a bit of Tom Jones.

Thanks for sharing.

Nice job, Manny ...
Just one question - How much do you try to sound like Elvis, or is it just your natural voice and style?

Any songs on your site that you didn't try to sound like him?

The spoken part is far too "happy". The story is a sad one, and you should hear the disappointment in the voice when he realizes he was only dreaming, and that he's not back home, but still in the prison, waiting to be executed at daybreak.

I didn't hear that at all. As if you never knew what you were telling with this song.

And while I'm being the negative pain in the butt already, I'd like to add that you should be careful not to get too far ahead. Elvis' timing was legendary, and just singing the words 2/4 of a bar too early doesn't make it right.

Manny don't let all these Superstars bother you......your doing fine & your infectious excitement about making music is a wonderful thing & I'm sure your audiences appreciate it big time.. Don't let anyone kill your dream....Go for it with reckless abandon full speed ahead!!

Thanks for sharing your work

So it's a bad thing if someone makes a remark about a recording? Suddenly I consider myself a Superstar just because I am not slapping Manny on the back - because I don't think it's that good?

I can't play the violin. Not a single note. But if someone plays on a bad tuned violin, or plays in a way that makes the violin sound bad, I *know* it's bad.

You don't have to be able to do it any better, to be allowed to say anything if you don't like it.
